I started going back to Millhopper when my vet moved there from Alachua. It was also closer than taking my cats to Alachua (where I purchased them). All they are interested in, is money. What happened to the good, old, family Veterinarian? My cats have been there for miscellaneous tests and annual visits, for years. One of my cats developed upper respiratory infections. My ex wife used Millhopper Vet for years. When it came time to put down her cat, of 22 years, she couldn't stand to be in the room when it happened. She didn't want the cat to die alone, so I stayed. The Doctor (?) Was a younger doctor. When he tried to inject the "cocktail", it wouldn't go through the IV that they had installed. "It must have clotted and got stuck", he said. PSA: STAY FAR AWAY!!! This place has been on the decline ever since they were brought out by Banfield. Twice now I had the vet techs and front desk people give me wrong info which caused delays, rescheduling, and wasted my time. I suppose not communicating with the customer must be a requisite for working here. I spent over six hours coming back and forth as well as waiting in the parking lot for a blood draw/screening. Sasha starts barking as soon as we hit Millhopper's parking lot in anticipation of going on vacation when I board her. Sometimes I wonder if my family and I are missing out not going for 4 nights with her. This Poogle gives them 5 stars for customers service and her report card when she leaves for home!!!!!
