Update 2/19/25: After back and forth with my father in law we were told that they will be putting insulation around the unit. This will not remedy the problem but I guess they figure out of sight out of mind. I am attaching pictures of what my unit now looks like (only a few months old) and will be having a company come remediate the mold that is now not only out there but on my ceiling in my home.
