Bought two ribeye grilling steaks put them in the fridge when I got home which is a five minute drive away the next day I take them out to barbeque them and they’re extremely sour. They are selling rotten steaks, very disappointing
Staff are friendly, the bacon is good - but - on 2 occasions I bought already vaccuum sealed products and had them smell spolied upon opening. Once was pork back ribs, and most recently beef short ribs. When I returned the short ribs (packaged 2 days previous, according to the label) I was told that "they smell totally fine". I know what bad meat smells like and when I said fresh meat shouldn't smell like that the guy responded with "well that's what ours smell like". I’ve been shopping at Miller’s Meats for decades. Last week, I purchased their in-house peameal bacon and their breakfast (pork) sausage for the first time. I’ve had the opportunity to cook both products. They are both by far the best I’ve ever tasted from any other source in Winnipeg. I’ve been returning to Miller’s Meats for specific favourite items in the past, and now there are two more products on my shopping list.
