Budget friendly, clean & basic.
If you are after a cheap place to stay and are not disturbed by an uncomfortable bed, basic half-arsed cleaning this motel will be ok for you. We booked for 5 nights and left after 4 nights - would have left earlier if we could have but we had a "no refund" booking. Great location walking distance from town, air-conditioning/ heating but they was the best part. We booked 2 rooms with low expectations, and even those were too high. We returned the keys and just drove out just 35 minutes after we checked-in. The rooms smelt mouldy and of cigarette smoke. The linen was yellowed and marked. I don’t want to make the review all negative tho, the previous guest’s hair still on the pillowcase, was a lovely homely touch. A very basic room - very small bathroom, and kitchen/wardrobe, and one night is enough. If I had to look for accommodation in Wangaratta again, I would not choose this motel.
