I have gone 2 times this year. Both times I had a good time. I got a lot of vegetables and I picked them myself. The people that work there are nice and helpful. I plan to go next year. It is nice to have fresh vegetables that you can pick and freeze to have in the winter months.
Kids has a blast but I think I had more fun than the kids did. Bring a spade, pruning shears and fabric grocery bags for your haul.
This farm is the best. Paid $65 for 4 of us and my daughter had paid 8 for her field trip and we each filled up 5 bags of veggies. We had so many veggies that lasted us for at least 3 weeks which is amazing considering we are a family of 12!
This has become our annual tradition with family and friends. We have been coming yearly for around 7 years. We love introducing the kids to farm fresh vegetables and teaching them where their food comes from. After harvesting the kids love playing on all the tractors, old cars, old planes, old fire trucks, hay hill, dirt hill, rubber pit, swing sets, pedal trikes (several need the chains fixed though so all can pedal), and the corn maze. Miller farms is great! We got so many fresh veggies and had lots of fun. It would have been nice if there were signs indicating which plant was which for us city folks.
