To just go and pick vegetables it may be an "ok" trip, but as a fun learning experience for a field trip there are better choices out there. It was rainy the day we went, trying to make the best of it was challenging, tarps leaked, play areas were disapointing and delapidated , saw a few miserable chickens, the maze was a wobbly lattice comtraption, etc. but if you want to pay to pick veggies... won't go back & won't recommend it. Lacking in ceativity & educational value.
Like other area families we to come here every year we've been going since my kids were babies now they're in high school. Some drivers actually get out of the tractor and show you which vegetables are best,how to select the right ones, help with a shovel etc. (we tip at the end regardless)
Been visiting Miller Farms for a few years now and love it! The kids love it as well. Such a great experience!
One of our best years with drivers!! A little late for some stuff which we knew, but got great onions, potatoes, kale, green beans, pumpkins, jalapeños, carrots, celery, green peppers, a lot of other stuff!!!!
What a great place and experience for kiddos and the grown ups! Being able to pick our own fruits and veggies was the highlight of this experience.
