My kids really enjoyed the farm and we came home with a ton of produce. If you go be prepared to get dirty and bring gardening gloves and a spade.
I enjoy going to the Miller farm. We have made it a yearly outing in the fall. Everyone is very helpful. We take the little ones, they get a kick out of being able to pick vegetables. I recommend visiting Miller's farm.
It was a great day! I loved picking my own vegetables and the price isn't bad for how much you can get. So far we made homemade spaghetti sauce and tonight we are making vegetable soup.
October is the best time to go! Pack your wagon with tons of veggies you pick yourself from the fields, let the kids play in their huge playground, wander through the corn maze, pick out huge pumpkins for Halloween. You will appreciate the farmers' life and work! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Don't forget to get some roasted peppers, they are so yummy! Last October was my first of many years to come.
