I checked in for New RAV4 Hybrid concerns: jolting while driving and not engaging battery regularly even at slower speeds. You want to avoid Service Advisor (Derrick), I certainly would next time, to handle your vehicle in Service as he expressed sheer reluctancy to acknowledge and work on the problem at the outset, straightaway gave me 4 hours TAT, didn't update on ongoing diagnosis (found my vehicle parked in the lot outside) totally oblivious whether the mechanic has worked on it or not. Took 4 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and software update for a recall. I was told “two, maybe three hours” when I got there for my appointment. I had to hunt someone down to check on my vehicle at hour 4, since they don’t respond to the messaging system they send you texts from. See photos for timestamps and messages. The facility was reasonably clean but they only had bad coffee and water, no snacks. If you’re gonna keep people for 4+ hours, make sure we’re comfortable.
Horrible service. Long waiting. very rude service advisor.
