The security deposit handling at Millennium Santa Monica was disappointing and felt unfair. After moving out in August 2025, I received just a $15 refund check over a month later, without any initial itemized list of deductions, which I believe violated California’s 21-day rule under Civil Code § 1950.5. I have been living here for 4 years now. I must say that from the beginning since I started living here , the leasing team has always addressed me with a condescending and dismissive tone. The building is big, so I convinced myself that I wouldn’t need to interact with them much anyway and decided not to Let this bother me within my stay and figured I stay invisible as possible. I was greeted at the front desk by Cassandra, who was absolutely wonderful, kindhearted, professional, and great at her job. She gave me a tour and went above and beyond. The property is beautiful, modern, and has a very welcoming atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better.
