The walk in clinic was supposed to open at 7 am today. I showed up at 7:05. A lady was sitting behind the counter, and there was a note on the door saying the door would open once coverage was available. I called the walk in clinic since the employee behind the counter would not open the door. She said the medical assistant had called to say she would be 10 minutes late, but she had not heard from the nurse practitioner. As I was leaving, the medical assistant pulled up in the parking lot. I dropped my father's urine off to check for a UTI. Dropped it off the same day they told me to. Waited days for results. Bottom line, they lost it and never told me. My mom thought she may have a blood clot. Called and they said they were open till 7PM and could do a Doppler. Came at 5:30PM and told the technician went home at 5:00PM so we went to the emergency room. Always have to wait a long time in the room, even when they are not busy.
I was told I would receive a call from the patient experience call center within 3 business days regarding an issue with my mother, Josephine Morris. This is day 3 and no call yet. I called again today and the recording said I would get a call back in 2 business days. Poor customer service
We came in tonight with suspected mastitis. We arrived at 6:55pm (I know they close at 7pm) and here’s the interaction we had… My wife: “I’m afraid I have mastitis.” Front desk: “We don’t treat that here.” My wife: “You don’t have antibiotics?” Front desk: “We’re not taking anymore patients since it’s almost 7pm.” Stating “we don’t treat that here” is terrible. If there’s a cutoff to see patients, that’s understandable, but don’t skirt around it. Also, a reminder it costs nothing to be kind—especially to someone in pain.
What a great clean calm facility. This was my first visit. Cheyenne, Frankie, and Dr Robin we're all amazingly cordial and friendly. Smart.
