I am a retired MD family practice physician. I recently moved here and established with the Millennium Physician Group. Before my first visit I was given a list of laboratory tests to have done before my first visit, which I did. Shortly after, I started receiving bills for all of these tests, stating that my insurance would not cover any of those tests. Worst service I have ever received at a medical lab. The girls at the front desk were so rude and the other girl Savannah was extremely rude to me, both at my first visit and the visit ten minutes later. I actually had to drive to my doctor’s office and get a typed order because those girls would not even make an attempt to find my “standing order”. Will NEVER go there again.
Dr. Laufer has been my doctor for almost 20 years. He is thorough and caring and I greatly appreciate that. He pays close attention to complaints and concerns and does all he can to help you! Five stars in my book!
If you like feeling like just a number, if you enjoy not having your questions answered, being talked down to, not having your calls returned by doctors - then Millennium Physician Group on E. Venice Ave. FL is for you. They have gotten too big and cannot handle the load. I have given them way too many chances - I’m DONE.
STAY AWAY I would rate them a "0" if I could. The worst front-desk services. I checked in and waited for one hour and half. hours. THEN I watched 5 people that checked in after me with no appointment see the doctor. There excuse was I was checked in but 10 patients were ahead of me. Another word she forgot to check me in. I surtently am not waiting 5 hours in a doctor's office.
If only these ratings really did get to the unsuspecting woman going here for mammograms. Expect pain and unprofessionalism. Do not go to millenium imaging on Cochran Blvd in port Charlotte. It will be a horrible experience.
I went to the walkin clinic and I got called back to the room really fast. Nurse came right in took my vitals and said Dr will be in soon. 45 minutes go by and I opened the door and asked the ladies at the desk "do you know when i am going to be seen its been 45 minutes". the lady was rude and said " they are busy you will be seen soon" instead of looking at my chart to see when my turn will be. I was going to millennium group for six months. Never again. The APRN Laura told me that my labs need attention so I went in. My cholesterol was a bit high and was put on med ok . Then she put me on metformin for diabetic I argued that I was not diabetic at the time it was 5.25 A1C. Laura arguably said I was so that person put me on metformin.
