Millennium was hired by my insurance company to do an inspection due to a new policy. I had requested that the person doing to inspection contact me prior to arriving to let me know day/time they were coming so I could lock my dog in the house, as we have a doggie door and she has free access to the yard. I heard nothing for weeks. I received a call at 10:30 on the day they were coming to let me know they would be there at 11:30 and were told to call. I came home today to find a man going around looking at our house. When I pulled up to the garage, he took off. I was scheduled to have an inspection in the next few weeks, but I would like to receive confirmation that that was what was going on. I called my insurer and they could provide me with no information except that a company called Millennium was supposed to do the inspection but they didnt know when that was supposed to happen and has no contact information for the company. Millennium Information Services, Inc. is hired by Insurance carriers, in this case Homesite to conduct exterior surveys of the homes they insure. The carrier notified their insured that Millennium would be there in the next few weeks within a few weeks. The homeowner does not need to be home. A door hanger should have been left notifying the homeowner we were there. I apologize if that did not happen. The homeowner can notify their carrier who would contact Millennium to investigate. Why this company is in business is beyond me. The higher *** must pay bribes to the hierarchy at Homesite to get the contracts. They had my policy canceled for a roof error. I redid our roof completely the month before and they used an old report to cancel. They never came to do an updated report. SHAM!

Homesite uses Millennium Information Services to conduct an exterior survey of the home for insurance purposes. Millennium takes photographs of the home including photos of the roof. Millennium does not make any recommendations or underwriting decisions, that is solely the responsibility of Homesite. If the homeowner disagrees with the findings, they should definitely contact their insurer Homesite for more information.
Just like many people up here, had my policy canceled for a roof error. No pictures, no description of damage, and the door knocker was left completely blank with no info. Just had my home refinanced two years ago and the roof looks no worse from that time and an actual inspector approved it.They have to be the cheapest bidder for all these insurance companies to keep using them.
Clearly Millennium inspectors get paid more for reporting issues. They pinged my house (which has just been re-sided and painted) for siding damage. They also pinged my house for a broken fence that any normal human would say is fine. They take pictures using poor lighting that makes things look worse than they are. Switched to GEICO for homeowners. Apparently, Millennium came out to inspect. I was home and no one notified me they were here taking pictures of my property. Report says no one was home, but they took a picture of my car in the driveway. I work from home. Report also says our policy will be canceled if we dont have a full roof replacement. Not sure how they got accurate pictures of my roof without GETTING ON THE ***** They claim one of the pictures is the back roof. They never stepped foot in my backyard. Millennium is contracted by insurance carriers to take photo's of their policyholders home for insurance purposes. It is an exterior survey and does not require the homeowner to be home. It is our practice to always knock on the door to greet the homeowner and explain our presence. If no one answers the door, we leave a door hanger letting the homeowner know we were there. Had a similar experience to another reviewer. I did not receive any notification/letter/call/email from this company that they would be by to conduct a home inspection for my home insurance in January 2023 (we are in ******). We were startled to find a random person on our driveway - our home alarm system notified us of movement in the front - and here we see a lady walking around the property and taking photos of the front of the **************** to go into the gated back yard without even knocking on the front door to noti... read more
Some dirtbag shows up looking like hes homeless in a busted pick up truck, doesn't announce himself, decides to let himself into my back yard while taking pictures, gives me some bs door tag that has zero information on it, can't tell me who my insurance company is or anything, told him to get off my property. Lucky it didn't turn into more than that trespassing on someone's property.
