They put the iv for my MRI in a small vein. It blew. Causing excruciating pain and huge swelling to the point where there was not a pulse in my hand and I lost feeling in all of my fingers. This resulted in my CURRENTLY being treated at the local hospital. The Dr. at Millennium said it was a surgical emergency if the swelling continued and I needed to be evaluated. ASK WAIT TIME FOR RESULTS BEFORE MAKING APPOINTMENT !! The facility and people were perfect. BUT, at my PET/CT on 5/29 I was told a few days for results. Today I was told they are short handed and it will take 8 BUSINESS DAYS for results! They should have told me that when I scheduled the appointment and I could have chosen another facility. PET scans are looking for cancer! They obviously don’t realize what they are putting patients through making them wait 5/29 until possibly 6/9 for results.

Ana at the admitting and reception desk at the Port Charlotte Radiology office is an exceptional example of a caring and dedicated professional. She helped my husband get set up with an MRI that he needed urgently prior to a medication infusion appointment. She was helpful in getting him in ASAP so that he could be ready for his infusion appointment. Ana should be recognized for her exemplary service to your team and the patients.
