I had a 6:30pm appointment here with my mom to get our nails done, and honestly it turned into one of the most uncomfortable salon experiences I’ve had. We even arrived about 10 minutes early, so it’s not like we came in last minute before closing (they close at 8pm). Earlier in the day, I had called to explain exactly what we wanted: I had acrylics that needed removal, my mom had gel that needed removal, and we both wanted new gel manicures. ADDITION: if it wasn't clear, ALL my nails are paper thin now and peeling/breaking...I've only had ONE gel manicure about 2 weeks ago at another salon and was perfectly happy with the nail tech and results but she warned me NOT to get gel manicures repeatedly, if I must, to just get regular maninures and do not attempt to take off a gel manincure myself (now THAT'S a professional nail tech, telling you the TRUTH about how damaging gel manicures are).
