Dr. Ismail is an amazing paediatrician.
Dr. Ismail shows incredible care for our baby and engages in informative conversation. Maria in the breastfeeding clinic is an angel who loves her job and really cares, and you can tell. We received incredible support at a vulnerable and confusing time. Front desk staff are very nice, sometimes confused but have been getting more organized over the last few months. Stay away from this clinic. The breastfeeding consultant tried to manipulate us into an unnecessary tongue-tie release by claiming our baby had a disorganized sucking reflex and multiple other issues. She speaks with a dangerous confidence that makes it easy for exhausted parents to believe her. Thankfully, we got second opinions—six separate pediatricians have since examined our baby and confirmed none of her claims were true. I was able to do a walk in appointment about an hour or more after opening on a Saturday. The wait time was not bad at all, I got through in a relatively reasonable time. The staff were very friendly and professional. The doctor I saw was very thorough and professional. I will be back. I only gave it 4 starts because they childrens play room had no sanitizing wipes even though sick coughing kids went in and out frequently.
Their services did not help much. They were insistent on doing a tongue tie procedure for my infant, which we denied. We took few more opinions and got to know that my kid doesn’t have one. The way they were pushing to get the frenectomy done was shady and just another way of making money. Pushing an unnecessary procedure on vulnerable parents is pathetic. Not recommended. Stay alert and always take second opinions.
