Millbrook Homes is a wonderful company. I have been an employee of Millbrook Homes for close to six years. The care and love given to residents is second to none. The homes are clean, bright and cheery. I am very involved in their many scheduled activities and facilitate the Alzheimer's Association program MEMORIES IN THE MAKING. The level of care and ongoing training makes for a knowledgeable staff. I feel I am lucky to have been chosen to be a part of this forward thinking company.
I will never recomend working or placing a family member in the care of this company. I worked for the company for well over a year ending my position as a manager of one of the facilities. I was harrassed, and hounded on by the upper management every chance they got. As well as bad mouthed to others in the company by said managment. I was made to feel unsafe, and unwelcome by them. I worked for this company for nine months and in that time I never had a solid month go by without the administration being directly responsible for a lack of caring, compassionate service for the family members I worked with. The administration does not care, is not professional, and could not care less about your family, your caregivers, or the business. They care about your rent payment and that is about it. I will never work for them again, or advocate for their services.
I have worked in senior care for over twenty years and have also had personal experience with family members who have/had memory issues. MillBrook Homes provides wonderful care in a residential assisted living home environment for people with dementia/Alzheimer's Disease! Their management staff and caregivers are loving and supportive of both the residents and their families. In the Denver-metro area, MillBrook Homes has been a leader in memory care for many years. Keep up the good work!
