This facility is extremely understaffed! When it takes up to 30 minutes for someone to assist you to go to the bathroom, there is a problem. Food was horrible. I do not recommend sending anyone to this facility!!
I have been at Mill Run for almost 10 years and I love it. Notice, I did not say "work" at Mill Run? A very wise person once told me, "If you truly love what you are doing, you will never work a day in your life." Being an Activity Assistant has been the best....especially since we use ANY excuse for a party. We are all about the care, welfare, and well being of our residents....and that means having fun in a difficult situation. We are your family members temporary family and we love doing it. Mill Run Rocks!
As a family member of someone who had suffered a stroke and was in need of care, I cannot say enough about Mill Run! From the moment Jennifer came to the hospital all the way until Mama went home 6 weeks later, we felt the care, attention, knowledge and talent the people at Mill Run dole out each day when they come to work. Everyone knew us and said hello, came by for a hello and were all so helpful, even when I had to phone! Thank you for all everyone did at Mill Run for Mama!
