This park is our normal stop off going to and from the Rio Grande Valley. We really like the recent upgrades with all the concrete work, it is a major improvement. It does seem the the grass mowing is not being kept up including the dog park. The grass in the dog park was taller than our dogs. I would also recommend that overnight guest be parked away from other guest when possible so leaving early would not disturb others.
We are driving back from staying at the Mill Creek Resort. Best resort we have ever been so far. Very clean, everything so green, friendly staff at the front desk. They had live music, trash picked up almost as soon as I placed it outside. Showers fully equipped and very clean. The pools very well maintained. I can’t say enough. They gave us a list of activities and things to do around the city which was very helpful. It is a big and nice place to stay.
My husband and I just stayed at Millcreek resort and we love it! The resort is very clean and maintained. This is one of my fave resorts. Love the swimming pools! The staff is always very friendly and we were very impressed with the front desk employee, Taylor. She is very welcoming and cheerful - always with a smile! Taylor's even remembered my husband from our last few visits! This makes you feel very at home at the resort! Taylor is 5Star all they way!
We had our family reunion at this location. The staff was very accommodating, and courteous. Thank you for making our reunion a memorable success.
This place is nice and so very close to trade days, so if I’m ever back, I would stay again. I would encourage Mill Creek to invest in a power washer for the cottages. Seeing all the gross mold and mildew on the north side of the cottages made me wonder about the upkeep of them in general. Ours looked clean, but since we have little dogs, it didn’t take long to discover the floors were absolutely filthy. The rest was fine and clean and pretty good.
