When I first arrived I felt the service was super friendly. The second day they started charging a dollar for water instead of it being complementary, I was told by the staff because it was busy because of the winter festival. The next night I contacted management and due to the cleaning staff disregarding the Do Not Disturb sign. They threw away several large baggies that I had saved to put on my wet snowy clothes in to fly home with. This review is for the owner and not the staff who are wonderful (especially Jasmine) or the hotel itself. I should add this is not the nice couple that used to own Mill Creek, but a newer owner. We have been coming to the hotel for many years and multiple times a year, either under my name or my wifes (in case the owner checks) and have had nothing but great things to say to all our friends and family. My husband and I stayed here for my birthday in January and we found it to be cozy and wonderfully located. You can truly tell the staff here really care about their guests and go above and beyond to provide them with great hospitality. We especially enjoyed the warm breakfast - yummy and with great variety. The suites were spacious with nice views. We are planning on returning with our kids next time over the summer.
Beautiful! Our stay was an early birthday present for my 30th. The fireplace, the whirlpool and the lights in the room were all so cozy.
