Absolutely terrible experience with Maymont Homes. In the last few weeks, their delays and mismanagement have cost us over $1,000 out of pocket. It took a full week to replace our broken fridge (causing $450+ in spoiled groceries), and the replacement was smaller and inadequate. Old fridge sat outside for days until we called them again. Then our AC failed—emergency line went straight to voicemail, house hit 85°F, and no repair could be done for days. I had it at four stars but since Scott left the communication has been awful. The decline in maintenance is awful and the amount of people leaving and empty homes is crazy. Nothing is getting done and it takes weeks or even months to get answers and get anything done. No one answers the phones or you get hung up on or put on hold then disconnected. In the beginning, Scott has been great to help us get settled. Appreciate all of his help. Neighbors were great. Since Scott transitioned to his new job, communication has been horrible. Mgmt was very unreasonable at the end in addition to poor communication. Barking dogs at all hours of the night in the neighborhood behind the property and revving cars early and late at night. There are much better options in Leland. Occupancy rate has visually appeared to drop so hoping the current mgmt changes their approach.
