Allendale Mill is an historic structure which needs lots of attention. Residents are a mix of owners and those renting from owners. There is no office. There is also a mix of ages probably leaning on the younger side. Some members of the board have been on for 15 years or more and this needs to change. New members who try to make changes are sometimes swayed by the long-term people for whatever reason. Management is new but does not seem any better than the former company. There is no privacy at all here, you can literally hear your neighbors through the paper thin walls. Be prepared to deal with inconsiderate neighbors whom are loud in the late hours of the night. Neighbors that smoke and then the smell seeps right into your unit. Management sucks! They do absolutely nothing. The condos offer nothing other than a small recreation room that’s super outdated with a ping pong machine I think. Creaky floors. Paper thin walls. Sludge coming out of taps. A new rock quarry next door that starts blasting rocks and moving trucks at 6am weekdays. Loud neighbors. Absent management. Limited amenities. High fees for really no return on them there's no gym security pool laundry or even a ladder to borrow. people decorate and upkeep the exterior of the property themselves bc management doesn't seem to care. The condo fees are way over priced for what they offer. Hard to resell unit due to the fees.
