This is a unique venue to host your next party at. We attended my son's best friend's graduation party here it is large enough for a group of up to I would say 75 people there's a bar where you can put food that you had catered in or that you made lots of tablespace and gives off good modern vibes.
Today I ventured into Milkweed Event Space for a healthy vegan lunch and was delighted to meet the owner, Maggie. I learned so much about Ayurvedic eating! I bought a Kitchari bowl and it tasted wonderful and filled me up with only eating a third of the bowl! It tasted of the Indian spices and was topped off with cilantro. I added a little coconut milk to make it less dense. I paid between $15-20 for this large portion. It will easily make 2-3 servings.
Had a great bowl plus a cookie and a muffin. There was a bench just outside for a sunny lunch. Definitely will do again.
What a cozy space! Recently moved to the Havelock neighborhood and been exploring the quaint businesses in the area. There is a wholesome lunch available every Thursday. Grabbed a hearty rice bowl and everything tasted so fresh and delicious.
I came back the next year for the seed swap and it was just as lovely as the first time I came! I came here for a seed swap in March and it was a beautiful space. The wood and brick on the inside along with all of the plants. It was a nice location for something like this.
