We LOOOOOVE Janice at Milk Matters! Even once all my goals were met and my baby (who had difficulty latching and struggled to gain weight prior to working with Janice) was feeding like a dream, I was so sad to stop meeting with Janice. In addition to her invaluable wisdom and advice that saved my breastfeeding journey when it felt hopeless at times, her office was the safest place to land when I was confused and anxious as a first time mom. LOVE LOVE LOVE JANICE!!!
I cannot say enough good things about Jillian at MilkMatters! She was a big reason why I was able to hit my goal of breastfeeding for a year. Jillian was there to help with any questions I had or any issues I faced. Our appointments never felt rushed and I always felt like my concerns were taken seriously and were addressed. I highly recommend anyone who wants to breastfeed see a lactation consultant (specifically Jillian if you can because she's the best)!
From the very beginning, Jillian was very empathetic, understanding, and kind to me and my baby. She motivated me and gave helpful advice. I'm very happy to have had her as a consultant. I will definitely recommend her.
I had a very difficult labor, delivery, and postpartum experience in which my baby was in the NICU and I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. Both me and my baby had unforeseen set backs which I was worried would impair my ability to breastfeed. However while in the hospital Jillian provided me with a detailed pumping schedule to help keep up my supply while my baby was in the NICU. Everyone should get a lactation consultation! Ashley is fantastic, so kind and makes sure you feel empowered in your decisions. It takes a village, and trained professionals to help you (and NOT the internet!) With babies, and this team is great.
