My first experience was with Rodin and it wasn’t great. I am so glad I gave milk and honey a second chance and ended up scheduling with Morgan another day of the week except for Thursday’s since that was the only day Rodin works (I did that on purpose so I wouldn’t have another session with Rodin). We just “graduated” from Milk and Honey. We started there day 5 after our first son was born. They squeezed us in same-day after my breasts were super engorged, and I had such a painful latch. We were so overwhelmed and scared breastfeeding wouldn’t be successful, and they brought us in with such loving reassurance and support, we were literally in tears of gratitude. What an absolute scam. While discussing breast pumps with my insurance company, they said "Do you know you also have this free service where you can get a lactation consultation?" I confirmed it would be completely covered (no surprise deductibles or copays). They even found me Milk & Honey and said they were in network and that a consultation would be completely free. I wouldn't have even scheduled the appointment if they hadn't recommended this. I had the appointment, which was fine. They had to have a credit card on file.... read more
