room lacked a clean before we stayed, stains on the floor, dusty bed sheets, bathroom had calcium buildup, lacked clean tiles, other rooms had their bathrooms done up, not ours. fridge was left off and open so the milk had gone off. lovely staff though.
Shame it is closed at the moment as it changes hands. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owner, should be up & running soon, just completing some upgrades before doors open.
Absolutely disappointing, the owner John Wallis hasn't a clue. Since tess has left it's gone to rack and ruin. It is permanently closed. Up yours John. Don't bother comming to miling, nothing here but flies in a dying town.
Rocked up at this pub at 3 pm with 5 others all on bikes. Was told pub is closed as private function tonight, was offered a take away to drink on the side of road. DONT BOTHER.
