He was okay early on in treatment but now 2 years later he dismisses my concerns and is even rude when I try to get answers. He does not like to be questioned. I’m looking for a new oncologist.
Dr Militello has been my oncologist for 13 years. Cancer free. He’s the absolute best doctor. Great bed side manners and personality plus. I love love him
Dr Miletello has been my oncologist for several years. He always keeps my health his top priority with each of my visits. He takes time to address my concerns and answer any questions I have. Certainly very knowledgeable and always upbeat, kind and friendly. I have recommended him to others and they feel the same way.
My experience is wonderful. After being treated by another doctor who removed all treatments after I went into remission. I had a relapse six month later. I changed Doctors (which Dr. Miletello was the one I originally wanted) and Dr. Miletello explained that my cancer was not curable but treatable. Also that I would have to be on a maintenance treatment for ever. I have followed his instructions and have been in remission for the passed year and feel great. I thank God I have Dr. Miletello as my guardian angel.
Is there a zero star option? Dr. Miletello completely misdiagnosed my Dad and lied to us about the severity. We had a small town doctor from New Roads, basically tell us that my Dad had a tumor on side of his lung. On a follow up visit with Miletello, he blew off everything the young small town doctor said. I can still hear it years later, "she is an emergency doctor from a small town that doesn't specialize in this type of thing, your dad has fluid from a small nodule." I LOVE Dr. Miletello. He’s just a great oncologist. He has a wonderful attitude and bedside manner. The staff at his office is also great. Very friendly.
he was great in early treatment of my mother's breast cancer but quickly became very nonchalant and careless. disregarding her finding another mass for 2+ months until it was the size of a golf ball and had spread to her lymphnodes and chest wall without even so much as a scan to check it when she first noted it was the size of a pea in her neck. he had the worst bedside manner at the end and wouldn't even talk to her. very abrasive when he told my mom her cancer was back and didn't even give her a moment to process. we have... read more
Dr Miletello is one of my heroes. He treated me with true concern and kindness. He was honest with me about my treatment and what I was going to endure. Doc included me in decisions and ensured we became a team in fighting my cancer. It gave me supreme confidence that we were going to win that battle...and we did!
