Excellent patient experience with Dr. Lam. She spent extensive time evaluating my full medical history and was able to provide me with answers to lifelong chronic health issues.
My issue isn't with Dr Lam herself. It is with the office she works out of. In my few experiences with Meritus Medical they seem to go overboard or overreact. to a point of causing undue stress and anxiety where it isn't necessary. A quick reference would be having a biopsy done. Biopsy come back as melanoma. Having NEXT DAY surgery! Lining up oncology follow up, blood work, follow up appointments. All without communication. After the surgery it came back as benign... so they told me they will cancel all the follow-ups I did... read more
I came to Dr. Lam 3 years ago at the recommendation of my personal physician. My A1C was wildly out of control at 14+ and I had ballooned up to boot. She reviewed my medical records and immediately removed the medications I had been on. She prescribed a new regime and sternly (but lovingly) warned me to follow her direction and I would see results. She was not wrong. Dr. Lam has been amazing! I went in for something routine and she sat with me and listened and ended up looking at something that seemed unimportant. Turns out it was very important and she has gone out of her way to care for me and educate me on everything that comes my way. Her knowledge and assistance has helped me to understand my body and how it works.
