This place has the most beautiful art. I have bought four pieces so far. I’ll def be back to buy a big piece soon
Such a good vibe when you enter the store. The products feel so artistic and genuine. The lady that runs the store is also very pleasant and has such a positive attitude.
Completely agree with other reviews pointing out that their prices are now ridiculously high. The woman who founded and ran that shop for 30 years was very close to the Mexican artisans, knew the background on every piece, and priced things very reasonably. I used to love shopping there but the vibe is completely different under the new ownership

I visited this shop hoping to support a Mexican- owned business and walked out feeling angry and deeply disappointed. As someone from Oaxaca, it was upsetting to see Mexican folk art and Indigenous artisan work being sold at extremely inflated prices, ESPECIALLY by owners who are NOT Mexican and who openly describe discovering the art as tourists.
