Mikuni is the best Japanese restaurant we've found so far in the South Sacramento Valley. The selection and quality of fish for sushi and sashimi is excellent, with special/seasonal availability marked on their board (they often have raw oysters, as well). Beyond sushi, they offer a more extensive variety of menu items than most places too!
