I have enjoyed every meal from Makuni! Fantastic food. Great quality
We went for lunch, as we have many times. We know it is busy, so we always try to order when we are seated and ask for the check early. This time however, the kitchen was so backed up with to-go orders that, after waiting almost 50 minuets, we asked for to-go boxes with our food. The waitress was unapologetic and the manager was not helpful, or very sympathetic. I wish I could say this was the first time, it’s just the worst. I hope they change their processes soon, because I like the food. I will miss it in the meantime.
I don’t even eat sushi and this is one of my favorite restaurants. Hands down, the best agedashi tofu I’ve ever had!! I could eat it all day long, every day.

Loved the bento box lunch
I’ve been coming here since they opened in the late 90’s! Still the best sushi around! Just spent my birthday dinner here and it couldn’t have been more delicious!!! Definitely my fav!!!
I enjoy the nigiri, and rolls. The fish and rice are always fresh.
