They came out, checked the deck, went over a few stain options and had a quote ready same day which was nice. The power washing before staining made a huge difference- years of grime I didn't even realize was there. Took a couple days total before we could walk on it again. What I keep noticing now is how well the color ties everything together with the fence, wasn't even something I was thinking about when we picked it.

Part of our deck near the grill had turned almost black from grease splatter and moisture sitting under the mat we kept there. I figured those boards might need replacing but they were able to sand it down and get most of the discoloration out before staining over it. You can still see a faint shadow if you really look but standing height it blends right in with everything else. The Kenilworth weather this past spring was pretty wet and nothing has lifted or looked off yet, so I'm feeling good about it
