Saved us big time – We own a Mazda 626 and the back up lights didn't work. We tried to figure it out and began looking for the switch that activates the lights when you move the gear shift into reverse. A new piece would cost $250 we went to pick n pull and couldn't find any out there. We called mike's and he found out it wasn't the switch but a wire was broken. WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - – After 4 days of excuses I used someone else. What a joke and a liar this guy is. I agree he makes his employees write good reviews. I used Al's Mobile which was ON TIME, and did a GREAT job. If you want to get disappointed the use Mike, but you will be sorry. This guy is totally unreliable.

BEST IN TOWN! – Mike drove to me in Roseville. I have a 97 vw golf gti and there were numerous problems with it. Everything electrical was blown pretty much sunroof, locks, radio, the alarm was busted and the starter was shot. Mike fixed the starter and came back two days later to fix the alarm. But when I told him everything else that was wrong with it, he volunteered to fix that as well and it was a wiring nightmare. He is a genius and fixes things for a very reasonable price. He makes his employees write good reviews!!! – Yeah you heard me. The only reviews you can trust are the bad ones. I would not recommend him. There are good mobile mechanics in town but this guy is not it.

Completely Unreliable – Well, he fixed it, eventually. He was only three hours late (and only called with three different excuses, one being a nap) and it only took him three more hours to do what is generally agreed to be a 20 minute job; and he only dropped my starter on the concrete once. Even though my car now starts I will be taking my car into a dependable shop to get it checked out for any untighted plugs, unsecured bolts, lost lighters, spoons, or anything else he could have done to my engine while replacing my start... read more

Mike's the guy you want to call when you get stuck! – I'm a fairly skilled home mechanic and was replacing the clutch in my 2001 Ford Mustang GT and got stuck on one of the transmission-to-block mounting bolts being absolutely, irrecoverably stuck. After fighting with it for two days I called Mike. He came over the next morning and worked with me on it for a lot more hours than any reasonable person could have expected considering what he was asking and kept at it with obsessive determination until it was finally free! Works on his own timetable, but knows what he's doing – I can't speak for other posts here, but I will say I've used him three times and he never once asked me to write anything about him. First off, if you need work done, make sure you set it up on a day when you have plenty of time- he definitely isn't the most punctual guy. Count on him being late.
