So sad to hear that the phone number is no longer in service and realize that he has retired. He fixed my vw too many times and i have earned so much from him.
Called Mike today, hoping to have this wonder of a mechanic work on our car, but he has retired. Well deserved. He is referring jobs to Roseville Auto, but they do not do major VW engine repair, or at least were not able to do our timing chain request.
Mike is honest. He has been working on my VW's for 20 years and is a good man. Cheap labor and does good work. His shop does not look state of the art, but don't let that deter you. What he lacks in fancy tools he makes up in experience. All he works on is VW's...maybe an Audi if you ask him nicely.
VW's. It's a love/hate thing. You love to drive them, you hate how messy their electrical issues are... Mike is a one man shop. He operates with integrity and overall is a nice guy. If he can't get to it; he can't get to it. If you want it done asap then go to West Auto or a Bobby and Steve's and stop bi*****. If you are patient and want good work done; Mike is your man.
