Great Experiences at Mikes I can't believe this place has negative feedback. I like this hobby shop. I'm surprised that people would actually have negativity towards a shop that takes care of they're customers...
Mike's Hobby Shop is no good The sales staff are rude and have been for the last 18 years i have gone there i try to get all my things online from tower hobbys. Mike can been a a___ to sorry the truth hurts sometimes.
Mike's Hobby Shop is still a good place to shop.. Anyone who has shopped at Mike's has either witnessed or experienced the rude and lazy employees. I think that it is part of his image and is intentional. It has to be!! So, if you can't wait for an online order, you will just have to put on your thick skin and patience cap because he carrys a lot of goodies.
If Mike's Doesn't Have It, You Don't Need It! Mike's Hobby Shop has a little of everything and a lot of many things. RC owners of all types congregate to visit, race, fly and gain insight from Mike, Joe and Billy. The indoor tracks are nicely built and the cafe has recently been remodeled. The consignment products make it possible for almost anyone to afford an RC vehicle. PROS: Knowledgeable Staff CONS: Not Open 24/7
Always have what i'm looking for Mike's has a good selection especially in terms of components and parts. It's well priced and there's always someone there to help find the part I need and/or tell me the part I need. On the weekends they also have indoor tracks for dirt racing which is really cool to watch and the kids love it to. Highly recommended for Hobbyists everywhere.
Thank you sir may I have another!!! The place has potential; however the rude, insulting, know-it-all sales agents make for an overall negative experience. I believe Mike is trying to improve in this area but nicer more professional help is needed..
Great hobby store Mikes Hobby Shop Superstore is also known as Mike Hobby Hangar because he hangs many planes from his customers in the shop and sells them for the customers. Kind of a consignment shop for hobbyist. There is also a large number of Planes you can buy and assemble. Mike's has a huge indoor RC Car track and an off road RC Car track. Great Facility What I don't think alot of people are aware of, is the fact alot of the time the employees are working on cars/planes for people behind the counter. So, though they may appear to be ignoring you and rude, they are actually busy. I have gotten an attitude from one of the guys, but he has also be super nice and helpful. So, if you have never had an off day, feel free to judge.
