I WOULD NOT USE THEM! THEY WILL SEXTUPLE YOUR ORIGINAL QUOTE AND DEMAND THE MONEY OR THREATEN TO SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS! I would HIGHLY urge you to check their one star google reviews, they are KNOWN for doing this. I had bent the inside can of my interior floodlight by accident while trying to change the bulb. I was afraid to mess with it for obvious reasons. I called Mike's Electric and explained my problem. The man on the phone said it's a very simple fix and quoted me $40. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable. They fixed a blown outlet in my kitchen which may have affected my dishwasher. When/if I need electrical work done again, I'll be calling Mike's.

One star because it cannot go lower. They use predatory pricing to gouge after bidding low. The initial bid for setting up a dedicated circuit for my microwave was $5-600 with 4 hours of work. The job completed in 2.5 hours. Nearly half the time they estimated. Yet the bill came in over $800. When i asked for an explanation, they claimed that electricians are billing at $150/hour. Be aware that the average for an electrician's hourly is $45/hour and that SURGEONS make $180/hour. When i called them to escalate the i... read more

First time customer, asked Mike's to look at the electric wall heater at my mothers condo and give me advice on how to improve the heat by upgrading to a larger unit or fixing the one that is there. They discovered that the unit had a lower wattage element and upgraded it to a higher wattage element. They took care to look at what was there and recommend the right solution not the most expensive. Thanks for a job well done.

They had the difficult job of replacing knob and tube in my attic in the heat. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.
