I guess they decided that we didn't look like their clientele?....invited my wife and I to dine elsewhere. Nothing odd on the doors like invite only?

In retrospect, it maybe a good idea to reserve on New Years Eve ahead of time instead of rating the restaurant a 1 because you couldn't get in at 6:05 by walking in. Restaurant owners do not make money turning people away and I always aprreciate honest feedback. I feel genuinely hurt when people are unsatisfied and we are responsible. The atmosphere is amazing as well as the food. Mike is always great to chat with and his staff is always happy to see you. I am not a Vegan but so far everything that I have tried I have loved. Had the Mac -n- cheese wow...the best ever. Glad we live here

This completely plant-based restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I found while traveling :-) by far they have perfected the vegan mac and cheese. I would recommend any of my friends to take the time to travel to the island simply for that single dish :-)
The food at Mike's is fabulous & flavorful. We especially enjoyed the Vampire Slayer pizza and the cheese plate. The atmosphere is relaxing and our server, Haley, was fantastic. One of the best vegan restaurants we've ever visited.

Even as a vegan, it's nice to find a vegan restaurant that doesn't make a big deal about the fact that they're a vegan restaurant! They just let the good food speak for itself and top it off with some friendly service. Hope to come back some day
