WILD AND WACKY – I had a very strange request for this bakery. I needed a bathroom themed cake and they did a very tastefully designed (and very tasty as well) cake in the shape of a plunger! It was wild and wacky and made my plumbing wife quite happy!
the best ever – I needed a special cake for my 5-yr old's birthday and THIS WAS THE PLACE. They set an entire hour aside to answer every single, possilby annoying, question I had. They virtually interviewed me concerning everything about our party to make the best recommendations on design. The options ranged from little cost to elaborate sculptures for hundreds of dollars. I really appreciate the choices and time taken to make my special event even more special. And, in the end, it tasted FABULOUS too.
Not for small functions – I called looking for a cake that serves 12, since Mike's website says they can do a cake for as little as $17.00 - I thought I might be able to get a decent pretty cake for $50.00 or so. I was quoted $220.00 for a basic design and was told that I could get no more that a frosted 10" cake and not much of a design on it for my budget. Outstanding – The cakes are fabulous! My cake was not only a work of art but I have never tasted anything better. They only use real ingredients, nothing fake or artificial. Wonderful stuff.

Great Fish Cake!!!! – Wow! I was really suprized when I went to pick up my cake from Mike's Amazing Cakes. This cake truly looked like a Pacific N.W. Salmon. It tasted great too. The variety of choices I had in cakes and fillings was mind boggling.
Not so Amazing! – Recently I placed an order for a birthday party & I was very dissappointed with the outcome. The cake was not designed asked, considering they can make a cake to look like a life size grand father clock I figured making a simple birthday cake would be easy. The coloring was not as we had requested and was very unfinished looking, the writing was messy and the cake itself was very dry and unflavorful. Over all it was not amazing!
