Crab cakes tasted like muddy ocean sand. Remoulade was chunky with relish (?). The fries were cold. "Marinated Cabbage" (Cole slaw) was a bust.

Had Grilled Crab Cakes - really good. Enjoyed everything - love the atmosphere.
I don’t know how they got us seated and served so quickly. If you are searching for a legit, no frills seafood experience, this is your next stop. We are hooked!
I grew up in Gulf Shores and have eaten at Mikee's more times than I can remember. I moved away after high school and have come back to visit several times over the years. I always have a good experience and the food is great. I'll keep going until it's not there anymore.

I rarely write reviews. I have visited this restaurant for many years. However, BUYER BEWARE...BONUS CARDS ARE NOT WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN...We went to lunch today. We were told today's special was 1/2 price salads. We ordered salads and water to drink. Ten minutes later the waitress came and said we needed to buy two drinks to have the special price so we ordered tea. I am sorry that you feel this way about our bonus cards. Our bonus cards do not expire in 90 days, in fact our bonus cards do not expire at all. Also the bonus cards have always had limitations on them: you can only use one per ticket not per table, you can not combine them with any other discounts or coupons, and these were advertised that there was limitations on them. You may use several gift cards combined but only one bonus card per check. Sorry if you had any confusions.
I rarely write reviews, but this has been bothering me and I don't want anyone else to be disappointed while on vacation! We went to Mikees after seeing that they would cook your catch for you! We had a great day of fishing with Captain Joe with Island Marine Charters and were excited to try some of the fish that we caught! It was myself, my husband, and 2 children - ages 8 and 10.
