Sean Lopez (son of the late Mike) & crew were terrific to work with on our major roofing project--some 4,000 square feet of both pitched & flat roofs on a more than 100-year-old home. Given the home's age, there were several unpleasant surprises once they got into the project, but they handled each efficiently. They were professional, organized, skilled, respectful, & did a great job of cleaning up on a daily basis. I recommend them highly.
Phenomenal job. Brand new spray foam roof on our 75yr old New Mexico flat top; could not have asked for a better job. Everything went as quoted, work was able to start nearly a month ahead of schedule. We definitely chose the right people for the job.
Everything went nearly exactly as quoted. First the quote was fast, friendly, thorough and detailed. All of my questions were answered. It was nearly $20,000 less than another contractor's quote and that other one didn't even identify that this was a second roof layer, meaning that they both have to be stripped off. I was given a calendar time frame months in advance, and when another job ran long, they sent two teams to finish my roof on time. I was charged exactly what the quote said.
Dishonest, shysters, did not honor the guarantee. My roof leaked after spending $120,000. Had to spend another $2000 for them to honor the guarantee.
Unprofessional. Greedy. Dishonest. I contacted Sean with Mike Lopez Roofing for an estimate to re-roof a home in Santa Fe after finding his company in the Santa Fe Reporter "Best Of 2025". His estimate was high, and he promised he would repair a section of the roof and return to replace the entire roof (of which I paid a deposit of $9,500) in September.
