First visit went well. Dr.Mike was our second opinion after more than a year with no luck with first GI doctor. New ideas.
I met Dr. Schmalz this weekend when my daughter was seen at Children’s for belly issues, she had been seen previously by one of his colleagues. His colleague put her on a host of laxative medications that only worsened her difficulties and caused more pain and discomfort. When I expressed concerns to his colleague they were dismissed and lots of questions were left unanswered. Dr. Schmalz was on call this weekend. He oversaw her care at the hospital and was FANTASTIC!
