We just had Dane over for what initially was supposed to be simple but ended up being a bit more complicated than I thought. He walked me through the available options and I felt he had our best interests in mind every step of the way. Additionally, a couple of weeks ago we had Mike come out to replace our leaking hot water expander and he, too, was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Mike Douglass plumbing, and we will be seeking their services again in the future.

They came out February 24th for a leaking toilet. It needed to be replaced as the model wasn’t made anymore so they couldn’t get parts for it. As of March 4th (today) they still have not emailed my husband the quote or scheduled to replace our toilet so we called someone else. Very unprofessional and poor communication. (I did call them back myself and the person who answered verified my husbands email address but then said the tech had no submitted his paper work or quote yet so there was no email and she could not schedule... read more
This company is the best!!! We had a clogged lateral line that backed up at the Airbnb we are staying at. Kira contacted the owners of the Airbnb, got permission to do the work, and sent out their man Steve to check it out. Steve arrived a couple of hours after the contact and cleared the line! These are great people dedicated to customer service!!! We highly recommend them!!!
Just wanted to give a shout out about Mike Douglass Plumbing! Came home to a leaking water heater after hours. From the initial call from the on call person who walked me through what to do until a service person could get here, to the service person who showed up to replace the heater. To the follow up. This company puts faith back into honesty and integrity of a company. Would highly recommended Mike Douglass Plumbing. We live in Rotonda West.
