In late December, after our first brutally cold stretch, pipes froze in our cottage. I took steps to thaw the pipes, and soon water started flowing, but several pipes also burst, spewing water everywhere. I made a panicked call to Depagter Plumbing, and a 2-person crew came to the rescue quickly! I was so relieved and I was fortunate to have no long-term damage. Great service. When I call they are always very prompt and willing to help me. This time it was installing a new garbage disposal.
Early on Sunday, December 21, 2025 we encountered sewer water backing up in our basement. An early morning call was placed at 7am (left message as it was early morning on a weekend) and I had a response back from Mike himself in less than 10 minutes. He and another crew member were here at the house at 11am and finished the job up in 30 minutes. Highly recommend! We’ve used Mike DePagter plumbing multiple times for both our personal home and our rental units. Most recently we experienced frozen pipes.
