Prices are extremely high....Enough though the food is delicious and the waiter was polite and friendly. I wouldn't not have my friends recommend to their friends.. And you don't get your money worth in the food serving.
We love this place! We ate at the bar tonight and Shane took great care of us!
I love the food at Mike Anderson's but sadly the service given here is sorely lacking, I will not be going back to the Lee Dr location. 15 years ago I went with friends, all professionals in high paying jobs. While young they were dressed down. We were shoved into a small table where everyone had to get up if anyone needed to use the restroom and it took 45 minutes just to get our drinks. Visited Mike Anderson, Baton Rouge location, today for lunch and it wasn't a good visit. I ordered the Cajun plate. Its one of their lunch specials. The Cajun plate has fried fish, 1 piece, fried shrimp, 3 pieces, a cup of gumbo, a cup of crawfish ettoufe, hush puppy, fried mushroom (that was replace with about a table spoon of potato salad, and a side salad. Disappointed Visitor. I give it a 2+ rating Today was a special day for me and I selected Mike Anderson Restaurant. Usually I only go on Thursdays because I've loved the special "the Jason" for more years than I can remember. But about 3 weeks ago I had the best cup of gumbo so all I could think about was having a nice bowl of gumbo. Over priced for the amount and quality you get. Food was very bland and over fried. I got the seafood platter and I tell you what I will never go back again. Save your time and money and find a better quality and priced place to eat.
