Mikala the Nurse Practitioner was very thorough. Was a great experience.
Visit with my doctor was very good as always. However when I checked in I was asked if I felt I was discriminated against in making my appointment. I felt this was a stupid question that was ridiculous. Are there really any patients in Mesquite that have not been able to see their doctor because of their race, color or gender??? Two other patients heard my response and chimed in that it was ridiculous as well. If patients are being discriminated against then that suggests Intermountain is racist? Mikala was extremely helpful and informative. She was easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything. She also followed through with updating the doctors and was able to give me a possible plan for an operation date
