I recently had my first visit with Dr. King for an (overdue due to Covid)annual well woman check up. As a 62 year old, I had asked many other women my age for referrals to a Gynecologist (who specializes in GYN, and not Obstetrics). Amazing doctor! She is thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She was my doctor for my pregnancies, diagnosed my PCOS, pushed for more testing when I voiced my concerns for my health, and helped me get the answers I needed. She makes me feel seen and heard. Absolutely wonderful doctor and her nurse is amazing as well.
Would I recommend??? I do, all the time! Mika is the best OB/GYN! She talks the patient (me) through every step of the appointment, non-judgmentally listens to me complain about my issues, asks me about my life... This list goes on and on. She is there for me as long as I need her to be. I don't feel as though she is rushing me out the door. Love her, love her, LOVE HER!!!!
Dr. King is undoubtedly the best physician I have ever had! She is the most caring and compassionate by far as well as patient and concerned for your all around well being. She is very thorough with her exam and explanations and gives advice on things you should be doing to enhance optimal health.
Would not recommend. Terrible bedside manners. Made me feel shamed after contracting an STI from a boyfriend who was cheating on me. Should keep religious views and biases OUTSIDE of her practice.
RecommendedBest GYN...she dosent make you feel like you are just another patient. she takes her time with you during your appt and really cares. So blessed to have found her.
For each appt, the wait was over an hour! She is hard to connect because her demeanor and tone of voice always seemed fake. She literally talks to you like you are a little child, and it’s hard to figure out if she’s trying to be nice or degrading.
Best OBGYN in Lafayette. She cares, is interested in the patient, knowledgable, and super sweet. I highly recommend her
I always enjoy my visits with Dr. King. She truly cares about her patients.
