This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Michigan health department. We waited for over three hours for a biopsy. When I went to ask about the delay—since I had to go to work—they told me it was finally my father's turn; yet, they kept us waiting for over another hour without any explanation. I felt mistreated, and I believe we were subjected to racism because my father does not speak English.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! First and last time here! If I could give zero stars, I would! I walked out on my appointment!!! Highlight of review: - Long wait times. - Horrible bedside manner. - Waiting room smelled like an ashtray. - Building seemed abandoned on the outside. - No bags in trash cans. - No changing tables in family bathrooms. - Doctor was extremely rude!! Nice facility, clean and friendly staff. The wait times are horrible. I had an appointment and sat for a half an hour in the waiting room and over a half an hour in an exam room waiting for the doctor.
I asked to have a telehealth appointment for results, they told me they couldn't (because they can't charge insurance for it anymore she said?) so they had me come in, then wait over 2 hours for her to tell me I was going to talk to the Dr via tablet ... He could have done that over the phone.
Absolutely terrible experience, completely unorganized, unprofessional, we had a 10am appointment and its now 1130 and no one has came in to go over a aimple biopsy result
