In 2014 I was referred to Dr. Mendez by my cancer surgeon. His manner is very pompous. He seems to care more for his many beer steins on his office walls. I was having a breast reconstruction due to a mastectomy. It was a very stressful time for me. Since I had to undergo this ordeal, I told him that I wanted 'C' breasts. He agreed. Ultimately, I wound up with, at best, 'B' breasts. One of them has a significant dent across it. I'm very unsatisfied with him.
I can not say enough about about my experience with Plastic Surgery Associates of Redding. I was diagnosed with a scary situation. Dr Miguel Mendez sat with me and reviewed all the options and we were able to make a choice best for my situation. The procedure worked to remove the skin cancer and I left my last appointment feeling grateful. The entire process from setting appointments to following up was on point and they didn't miss a step.
