Just happened into this place with a notion to pick up something for dinner later. Chris welcomed me with a generous taste of a fresh out of the oven brisket. Delicious. He suggested a chicken and sausage combo for later with Brussel sprouts (another sample 😋) and cornbread. Looking forward to that. Thanks Chris.
I always get the spicy chicken rice bowl. Super crunchy. It’s a good 15$ spent. Great lunch spot. Amazing service .i never had coleslaw before but this is was the first time i had it and it was delicious. However I do not recommend getting the spicy crispy chicken rice bowl through delivery. The chicken becomes too chewy and loses the crisp so it is better to go in .
Although it's not mind blowing BBQ, the food is solid; It is pricey but certainly worth a visit. The brisket is a 3/5 for me, a bit dry, but decent flavor, and for a bbq place, the options for BBQ sauces are limited, there's only one type of BBQ sauce ,a ketchup, a mustard sauce and some other miscellaneous non bbq variant. Overall id return but this is like a once or twice a year type of place for me. Maybe it'll be different for you.
