As always, fabulous food and top notch service! Enjoyed my leftovers today as well !! Without question, the very best BBQ ( burnt ends are to die for ) in Charlotte.
I had the large burnt ends platter with mac&cheese and the bbq slaw. It was amazing as were all the dishes that everyone else got in our party. The brisket burger is absolutely incredible as is the pulled pork. They have 4 different sauces and each are good as well. I preferred the hot bbq and the south carolina mustard. The vinegar was very tasty on the pulled pork. I recommend this place for sure !
Went to the Central Ave location with my parents. Ordered the Salmon Sammie, salmon was cooked just right and well seasoned. Also, they forgot to bring out our appetizer. The manager immediately came over, apologized, removed the item from our check. We received out appetizer 5 mins later. The service and food was great!

Anytime I visit Charlotte I always makes sure to visit Midwood. Everything here is fantastic and the banana pudding is truly something special, it's one of those things I remember heading back home each and every time. Thanks for such a great meal!
Heard from two locals to go there and it was very good. I got the brisket with lean/fatty both option, the slaw, and a local NC brew. It was delicious, though next time I'll go with lean. The smoked wings were absolutely delicious, with a nice smoked flavor that lingered after the first bite. The bbq sauce itself was just ok, as was the mac and cheese. The banana pudding was delish, and the service was friendly and mostly attentive. I'd go back again especially on a Tuesday with $3.50 NC draft beer night!
As I'm here in Charlotte for a training, we were told that this was a great place to eat. I ordered the half rack BBQ ribs. Let me tell you, they were right to suggest us to come here. The food was amazing as well as the service. Thank you.
