The food is good and so was the decor and atmosphere. Was there on a Saturday afternoon, not super busy. The server only came by to take our order and take our plates. I had to ask for a refill towards the end of my meal when the server assumed I was done eating. If it weren't for the quality of the food I don't think I'd go back. I can't blame the restaurant for one lazy employee.
Service was great and the food was delicious. I will be back

The service was good as was the food. They were pushing the special and one of our group ordered this -- we were a bit surprised to see it cost $29.00. $29.00 for a lunch item is a bit outrageous especially when compared to the cost of other menu items. If Midwood is going to offer such a high priced item it might be helpful to inform the customer of the cost when the item is described. Again, food and service are good.
We ate here yesterday for the first time and hands down I must say it was some of the best BBQ that We have had in the city and the service was A1 and humble attitudes and all.The Brisket was great Greens amazing I don't even eat baked beans but these was out of this world
I'm a firm believer in Texas brisket and I can trufully say this equals or best any Texas brisket. Also had the burnt ends and they were " on the money " you visit Charlotte,NC this place is a must. Oh, the sides are great too. But the kicker is the service, this was absolutely premo. I give this place 5 stars.
We love this place. Everyone we go the food and staff are fantastic. And always have left overs.
